What I noticed during this drive
This route passes through both the older parts of Cansalades and the newer Cansalades Park development. One thing that stands out is the amount of open space around the area. Unlike some of Javea's more established urbanisations, there are still sections where modern villas sit alongside undeveloped countryside, giving the area a more spacious feel.
The newer properties are particularly noticeable, with many of the homes built in a contemporary style and occupying larger plots than buyers often expect. Despite being only a short drive from Javea, traffic is generally limited to residents and visitors. As the drive continues, there are regular views towards the Montgó and surrounding countryside, while the proximity of Xàbia International College helps explain why the area has become increasingly popular with families looking for modern housing stock in a quieter setting.
