If walking to the beach, cafés and restaurants is your priority, Arenal, Bahía de Jávea or the Port are likely to be better options. What I noticed during this drive

This drive begins at the main Valle del Sol entrance and follows several of the residential roads through the urbanisation. The first thing that stands out is how rural the area feels compared with many parts of Javea. There are plenty of mature trees, open countryside and relatively little traffic. Most of the properties are detached villas, with a mixture of older homes and newer builds appearing towards the rear of the development. Several roads back onto open land, which helps explain why the area is popular with dog owners and people looking for a quieter setting.
